If you provide substantial and regular care for a relative, partner or friend who is under 65 and has a long term physical and/or sensory disability, you can apply to this fund to a take a break. The fund will pay for care for the person with a disability.

CROSSROADS
Can arrange for trained care assistants to come and look
after a person who is frail, ill or disabled within their
own home, for a few hours, daytime or evening. This
enables the carer to have some time off for necessary
shopping, appointments, social or leisure

RURAL EAST SUFFOLK CARERS ACTION NETWORK
An independent Carer support group run by local Carers for local Carers. If you are a Carer in East Suffolk, then you're welcome to join us for an informal coffee session, where we exchange one-to-one emotional support, information and advice on such topics as respite, benefits, transport and local services for those being cared for.
